About This Game
PeriAreion, a term meaning "closest approach to Mars", is a single-player realistic space sim/strategy game. The goal is to establish a sustainable colony on Mars by mining minerals, constructing and populating a base, and dealing with the hazards of such a harsh environment. Like Oregon Trail in space, PeriAreion is about exploring a new and unforgiving frontier. All the science, modules, and environments found in the game are based upon current mars research and mission concepts.

Key Features:
CONSTRUCT YOUR BASE
Build and upgrade a variety of modules to help your colonists survive. Each module provides a unique and vital function to your base as well as enabling research in one of the 4 module tech trees.

EXPLORE MARS
Play on 3 unique maps all generated from sattellite imagery of Mars. Each map has different weather and hazards, along with difficulties for navigation and resource location. Find points of interest, missions, minerals, ice, and photo oppotunities as you explore.

RESEARCH COLONY UPGRADES
Spend research points in 5 different trees with 71 possible upgrades. This includes 3 different colony specializations that determine your path to sustainability and change the way you win the game.
