Today, Lego revealed five new Star Wars sets as part of its upcoming Smart Play lineup. At the beginning of the year, I detailed how Lego was taking a new approach to its sets from a galaxy far, far away with the launch of the Smart Brick. Before those first three models that I took a hands-on look at officially hit store shelves, however, Lego is completing that initial wave with five new expansion sets, including a new Millennium Falcon, Mos Eisley Cantina and more.
Here’s everything you need to know before the upcoming sets, which are now available for preorder at Amazon and direct from Lego, launch on March 1.
Lego Star Wars Smart Play sets for preorder
The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy is joining in on the Smart Play action. Like the rest of these sets, you'll have to pair the Falcon with any of the three All-in-One kits to take full advantage of the Smart Brick features. Solo's ship, of course, comes with its pilot, Han, as well as Chewy, C-3PO and Luke Skywalker, all of which are imbued with the Smart Play tech for interacting with each other and everything else in the system.
